Florida State University

Common/Study Spaces

When entering the Student Disability Resource Center, stop by the front desk and speak to our friendly, informative staff about your questions or to be directed to a specific office or staff person.

You are welcome to sit in our lobby between classes, before an appointment or exam, or to meet friends. There is a study room for students who need a quiet spot to read or study. The room has a television which is free for use as long as it does not create a distraction for others. Students may bring food to eat in our common areas.

The Dean of Student Department supports an inclusive academic environment through education, empowerment, crisis management, and advocacy of students in collaboration with campus and community partners.

We welcome students and family members to connect with the Dean of Students Department if you are experiencing a crisis or just need someone to talk through a problem or experience you are having at Florida State University.
