    As we make the transition to cooler weather, there’s no better way to celebrate the dropping temperatures than with a nice, comforting meal or with a warm cup of coffee or tea. Lucky for students, faculty and staff, and the community, FSU hosts a collection of food establishments and chains that you can choose from to sit down and order your favorite comfort food.     Giving Back to Your Community: Volunteering Opportunities at FSU and around Tallahassee

    In the midst of the holidays, a great way to celebrate your community and show appreciation for the Tallahassee area is through volunteering for various projects or organizations on and off-campus. The Center for Leadership and Social Change has a plethora of resources that can assist your student in satisfying community service requirements and ServScript hours for various scholarships, honor societies, and service-learning communities.

    Food for Thought Pantry and Its Annual Food Drive

    Ran by the Dean of Students Department, Florida State University’s food pantry--Food for Thought Pantry--is a wonderful resource available to students. Located in University Center A, Suite 4108, the food pantry is available for currently-enrolled FSU students that are in need of food throughout the year. The Food for Thought Food Pantry accepts non-perishable food items, cash, or gift cards from anyone willing to donate.
