SLS 2206 Chart Your Course: Living the Creed is a first year seminar course, primarily created to aid in the successful transition process of first time in college students. Through this 1 credit hour course, students will gain the knowledge, skills, and experiences necessary to begin their path toward becoming responsible and successful citizens throughout their time at Florida State University. This course will allow students to focus on common themes and issues for first time in college students while also providing opportunities for students to engage with and learn from numerous campus resources. This course challenges first year students to begin their journey toward achieving responsible citizenship and intentional campus community engagement. This journey will increase the potential for student retention and student success.
