Family Connection Council members contribute their time and talents to give back to the university, its students and families. Through Family Connection Council, family members have the opportunity to meet and collaborate with university administrators to offer support, programming, and services.
Family Connection Council members serve voluntarily and advocate for the needs of the students and families through various outlets. By serving as mentors to New Nole family members, Family Connection Council members provide a unique support system. Family Connection Council members also support the Annual Garnet & Gold Silent Auction during Family Weekend that supports the Family Fund. The Family Fund is a not-for-profit program that provides valuable financial assistance to services and programs that directly impact FSU students such as: flu shots, Dean of Students’ Food Pantry, FSU Career Library, University Counseling Center programs and the Center for Leadership and Social Change’s PeaceJam.
As Family Connection continues to grow, we are seeking family members that are creative, innovative, and excited about making an impact at Florida State University.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

Friday, January 31 – Applications due by 8 AM
Monday-Wednesday, February 3-5 – Interviews 5-7 PM
Friday, February 7 – Notification
Monday, February 10 – New Member Training 6-7 PM (GoToMeeting)
