Family Connection Council

The Family Connection Council serves as a subdivision of Family Connection. As liaisons between Florida State University and family members, Family Connection Council members establish lifelong supporters for the FSU community. Serving as a Family Connection Council member is an excellent way to actively engage in the student experience at Florida State University.

The Family Connection Council is a voluntary group of engaged Florida State University family members who advocate for the needs of families/students, assist with various fundraising efforts to help Florida State University secure the funds needed to support world-class services and opportunities for students, and serve as a sounding board when the University needs family input on decisions affecting the student experience. Members of Family Connection’s Council are not employees of Florida State University, but can be a valuable resource to other family members of FSU students who need advice, support, and encouragement during the college experience.

Vision: Family Connection Council connects family members with Florida State University.
